Lewis Hall has agreed a new five-year contract with Newcastle United running to 30 June 2031, with the announcement expected on Wednesday 9 September. That closes the summer's story. Manchester United went the whole window without signing a senior left-back, having wanted Hall as the long-term replacement for Luke Shaw, and Newcastle United held firm at more than sixty million pounds. With Hall committed to 2031, a January or summer move looks unlikely unless his new terms carry a release clause, which is not reported either way.
