Geoff Ogilvy's International team takes Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyama, Ryan Fox, Si Woo Kim, Tom Kim and Min Woo Lee through automatic qualification, with Sungjae Im, Corey Conners, Nick Taylor, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Nico Echavarria and Ryo Hisatsune as the captain's picks. Echavarria, Hisatsune and Taylor are debutants too.

Per presidentscup.com, the United States has won the last 10. The International team's single win came in 1998, at Royal Melbourne, and Golf Monthly and Golfweek both record it as the only one.
