The discipline follows an arrest in February 2026 after a domestic incident. Pearce was charged with three felony counts, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police, and resisting an officer with violence, plus a misdemeanour count. He entered a pretrial intervention programme, with the charges to be dropped if he completes its conditions.
