Lando Norris won the 2026 Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort on Sunday, ahead of Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, per Formula 1's own race report and Motorsport Week. It was his second win in as many race weekends.
The race ran to 72 laps and lost its headline act early. Max Verstappen lost the rear of his Red Bull and hit the wall heavily at his home race, and the session was halted a lap later.
Zandvoort does not come back. The August 21 to 23 weekend was the circuit's last on the Formula 1 calendar, under the one-year extension Formula 1 confirmed when it announced the 2026 date, which this desk covered on 21 August.
A Dutch Grand Prix that ends with the Dutchman in the wall and a McLaren winning is not the send-off Zandvoort had in mind when it fought its way back onto the calendar in 2021.
