The option figure comes from one named outlet rather than two, so it is filed here as REPORTED rather than confirmed.
Count what that structure does. The wages leave the books. The bonus income stays. A price is fixed in advance if Celta Vigo decide they want him permanently. And if he is sold on after that, Manchester United are still in the deal. Four separate hedges on a goalkeeper the club had already decided against, which is tidier work than Manchester United usually get credit for in this market.
